Dr. Lovelady and staff are incredible. I was new to the area and found the closest OB to me with good reviews. I’ve never had a more “real” doctor who genuinely cares for my health. My appointment felt the farthest from “checking the box” so-to-speak. She asked about my relationships and my lifestyle so that she could address and advise me accordingly. Dana is also incredible. Comforting, honest, informing. I feel so grateful to have found that “go-to” good doctor. Especially when it comes to women’s health. Thank you BHGL team!

If you've ever endured the torment of severe menstrual cramps, heavy bleeding, and unrelenting nausea and fainting for over a week each month, you understand the desperation for answers and relief. My situation is a nightmare, frequently landing me in the ER. Last year, an ultrasound revealed fibroids—not large, but significant enough to warrant attention. An ER doctor recommended further testing with an OBGYN, leading me to Dr. Lovelady.Initially, my visit with Dr. Lovelady seemed promising. She listened, and together we devised a plan. She was supposed to obtain my ultrasound results and determine the best treatment, possibly surgery or medication for endometriosis. However, a month passed with no communication from her. I had to initiate a follow-up and was instructed to come back in.The second appointment was an utter disappointment. During this visit, Dr. Lovelady was notably rude, informing me that the hospital couldn't locate my ultrasound records. She suggested birth control as a solution, despite my previous experience with it proving ineffective. When I expressed my concerns, she asked, "Well, what do you want to do?" I couldn't believe her lack of guidance and support.Dr. Lovelady's dismissive attitude and failure to address my severe symptoms are inexcusable. This experience highlights a pervasive issue within the medical industry—the failure to take women's health concerns seriously. The neglect of my condition underscores a systemic problem. Urgent reform is needed.
